Set among 25 hectares of parks and open space, Willowdale is a connected community by Stockland. With its tree-lined entrance, clubhouse, pool and gym, this is an inspiring example of the new standard of retirement living.
Diadem was engaged by Stockland to plan, design and deliver the signage and navigation system throughout the site, which would complement the village’s character and provide an enhanced user experience.
Diadem’s brief is to create a signage system that provides the correct information at the point of need and deliver it in a warm and discreet style.
Great care was taken to deliver an enhanced user experience while at the same time respecting the residential attributes of the site.
Diadem selected an earthy brown and bold typeface to mount grey room identification signs, maximising visibility. Freestanding site directories use bright colours such as orange, mustard, magenta and red on white to create a clear distinction between the village’s different blocks.
