From digital to built environment

Diadem designed and delivered a signage and wayfinding system that balanced brand expression with practical performance, embedding Yugo’s personality into an environment that remained clear, intuitive and navigable through diverse communal, amenity, and residential spaces.

Yugo’s visual identity is bold, playful and highly saturated. As it was conceived for digital-first environments, Diadem’s challenge was translating it into physical materials, finishes and the built form without losing its energy or legibility. This included ensuring the vibrancy would retain its character at scale.

Working closely with Rothelowman Architects and the broader project team, Diadem designed the system to feel genuinely integrated with the interior architecture rather than applied as a layer on top, encouraging trust and collaboration among stakeholders.

A new global standard

In addition to strategy, design and execution of the Yugo brand for this launch building, Diadem also created a global wayfinding and signage template for future sites worldwide. The system developed for Yugo Adelaide City became the foundation for a new global signage guideline, a scalable framework now enabling consistent brand rollout across Yugo’s expanding international portfolio.

By embedding design leadership across strategy and implementation, Diadem ensured that the brand identity was realised not just visually but also experientially. Yugo now has a benchmark signage system it can roll out as new sites come online worldwide.
