Shaping a brand
for the future

Since its purchase by Geely in 2010, Swedish vehicle manufacturer Volvo has built its presence in the Asia-Pacific region. Its Shanghai headquarters was designed to house research, engineering, design and administrative hubs.

The architectural design of this impressive 200,000 sqm precinct captured the company’s passion for innovation for the next generation of motor vehicles. Geely engaged Diadem to enhance the brand in the built environment, including signage, wayfinding and sky signs.

Global experience.
Local networks.

Diadem studied the building from an external signage application perspective, conducting a Viewing Distance Analysis (VDA) to identify the optimal locations, scale and materiality for sky signage.

With its growing track record of completed projects in the Asia-Pacific, Diadem was quickly able to prototype various materials and source manufacturing contractors to provide a complete solution across the precinct.
