AGL Energy has launched a new brand with a bold vision along and an invitation, "are you with us?". We're excited to be working with them, but even more so about what their new brand means to them.

Energy giants AGL launched a new brand with a bold statement; “We’re getting out of coal”. This coincides with a change in visual identity, logo and communications as AGL Energy sets out to transform their customer experience.

But it’s not all glossy marketing either. This new position also ushers in a new approach to energy, proving their statement isn’t hollow. The provider will be starting a fund that will put up to 3 billion dollars into creating more renewable energy.

The rebrand has kicked off with the above campaign, a reveal of their new-look brand identity and a complete refresh of the AGL Energy website.

With an aim to launch on the 21st of April across Australian, AGL Energy approached us to provide implementation support to meet the tight deadline and provide further roll-out after that. We’ve been working with AGL on meeting key milestones ahead of their launch, and we’ve still got a lot planned ahead of us as we see this fantastic new brand rolled out across the country.

At Diadem, we love the commitment to a change in brand experience. And fortunate for us, it doesn’t stop at digital. With a new brand identity comes the rollout of that identity to all of AGL Energy’s physical assets. For us, that means strategy and planning to meet the new launch date. A site audit and scope of works for the rebrand implementation, including site documentation and on-site project management, progress reporting, updates, procurement and quality control supported by our integrated services model.

In addition, we worked alongside AGL and design agency Principals; collaborating to ensure the designs were fit for purpose and ready for their national implementation.

We’re excited to see AGL make take this step and their rebrand is no small feat. With some very interesting assets to rebrand, AGL’s rebrand rollout is one worth watching.
