Shopping centre experience 23

The focus of the work was to build a more positive customer experience.

Diadem has a long association with GPT, who had just completed an expansion to their Highpoint Shopping Centre. This change meant an update and expansion to the existing set of signage. This was an opportunity to update and consolidate the navigational requirements and signage to work seamlessly together throughout the centre; old and new.

Initially, we were engaged to provide a range of wayfinding and customer journey planning services. We worked to develop a masterplan and Kit of Parts to suit the long-term objectives of the centre.

A more positive customer experience

The focus of Diadem’s work with GPT at Highpoint was to build a more positive customer experience.

Consolidating existing and new signage throughout the expansion of the centre, we planned the wayfinding strategy, and provided a cohesive signage suite, incorporating the new highpoint brand.

Working in consultation with parking consultants helped to integrate the dynamic parking guidance system with the static signage suite to provide a holistic car park wayfinding service.

We worked closely with GPT’s development group, along with their appointed brand designers FutureBrand and architectural firms Grimshaw and Buchan Group to ensure all key design elements were fully aligned and integrated throughout the project.

The project scope included a customer journey audit, wayfinding strategy, design of new entry statements and improved car park navigation systems, creative solutions for the signage and centre navigations system, construction documentation, procurement and quality assurance.

Diadem provided trusted guidance within the project delivery contracted under Probuild for new development works while seamlessly implementing signage within the exiting centre, working alongside the GPT Highpoint centre management team.
