With regional headquarters based in Hong Kong, Nuance currently operates 37 stores in seven locations in Asia, and the majority of its operations spread across Europe, Asia and North America. These operations include duty-and tax-free shops, brand boutiques and concept stores as well as a comprehensive product mix.
In 2014, Nuance was acquired by the word’s leading travel retailer, creating significant value and enhancing its global leadership in travel retail. Thanks to its geographical reach, retail expertise and extensive distribution network, Nuance is positioned to further expand its activities and across Asia.
A decade of demand
Our Hong Kong Principal, Terry Waterhouse has held a decade long relationship with Nuance since assignment through successful tender in 2006. Over the past years we have worked on numerous projects throughout Hong Kong International Airport, with spaces varying from 1,000 sqft to well above 30,000 sqft.
Our team have worked with Nuance across Hong Kong International Airport and The Sands Casinos in Macao; venues that characterise the strictest working environments and protocol for Security, Health & Safety and Statutory requirements. Our experience in these environments combined with a very productive way to cooperate with internal teams including Merchandising, Operations, VM and Finance.
The scale at which large multinationals are operating is reflected in the demanding nature of the projects for over ten years. Creating a strict commitment to management disciplines that have allowed Nuance to trust that our design process would ensure the best possible outcomes.

Our long-term relationship
Our long-standing relationship with Nuance has seen a range of diverse projects delivered; ranging from Health & Beauty, Fashion, Electronics, Sweets & Confectionary, Gifts & Souvenirs, Watches & Jewellery, Eyewear & Food.
One particular project, we were asked to work on was The Temptation store, an anchor tenant at The Sands Parisian Casino, Macau. The store size is 28,000 sqft offering fragrance, health and beauty; carrying up to 50 luxury premium brands. Providing design & project manager services. Involvement on this project began in 2014 and was completed three years later in January of 2017.
